Representatives from TMA participated in and shared industry perspectives at the seminar "Sovereign AI & Data Governance", organized by the Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) – Southern Chapter on July 22, 2026.

The event served as a platform for technology leaders from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Cisco, QTSC, Data Protectify, Mi2, and TMA to discuss the evolving landscape of Sovereign AI and data governance. Through expert presentations and panel discussions, participants explored best practices for strengthening data security, ensuring regulatory compliance, and accelerating responsible AI adoption across Vietnamese enterprises.

TMA Showcases Local Data & AI Solutions for Enterprise AI Adoption

Representing TMA at the seminar, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Director of TMA AI Center, delivered a presentation titled "Local Data & AI Solutions", addressing one of the biggest challenges enterprises face in AI adoption: how to leverage AI while maintaining data sovereignty, ensuring system security, and integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise platforms.

TMA highlighted a versatile architecture that allows AI algorithms to run locally on enterprise servers or edge devices (Edge AI). Supported by a data platform compatible with over 40 systems and formats, the solution guarantees standardized data management, role-based access, and end-to-end security. This setup allows organizations to independently deploy advanced applications, including AI Agents, internal Large Language Models (Local LLM), and Multi-Agent AI systems.

Furthermore, TMA showcased Edge AI applications in Smart Manufacturing, such as automated visual quality control, workplace safety monitoring, and live equipment diagnostics.

Panel Discussion: Data as the Core Foundation of Sovereign AI

During the panel discussion alongside leaders from top technology corporations, the speakers unpacked the concept of Sovereign AI from an enterprise implementation perspective.

When asked to identify the single most critical asset among Data, Infrastructure, Models, Security, or Compliance, TMA emphasized that Data must be the top priority.

According to Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, while AI models and tools evolve at a rapid pace, an organization's proprietary data and governance strategy serve as the true foundation for sustainable value. Without structured, high-quality data, even significant investments in hardware or state-of-the-art AI models will yield limited real-world impact.

In his closing advice to enterprises navigating AI adoption, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh urged leaders to focus on concrete business problems rather than technology hype. Companies should define precise goals, run targeted small-scale pilots, evaluate performance metrics, and expand incrementally across the enterprise.

TMA continues to support the business community through their digital transformation journeys, boosting operational efficiency and market resilience through secure, sovereign, and scalable AI & Data solutions.
