On October 13 - 14, 2026, TMA attended the Seoul Tech Exchange & Partnership Day (STEP 2026) Global Business Matchmaking event in Seoul, Korea. Representing TMA were Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Vice President of Business Development, and Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, TMA AI Center Director. The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) organized the event together with the Gangseo-gu, Guro-gu and Geumcheon-gu districts and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX), with sessions held at COEX Magok and Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Guro.

STEP 2026 gathered technology companies and partners from Korea and abroad. Its program included a welcome reception, seminars, business matchmaking and partnership signings, all designed to spark new international technology collaborations.

During the seminar, Mr. Bui Van Cuong delivered a presentation titled “Entering Vietnam’s Tech Market: A Local Partner’s Perspective.” He pointed to the steady growth of Vietnam’s technology market and the strong footprint of Korean businesses in the country, both of which open the door for Korean tech companies to expand.
Based on TMA’s experience with Korean partners, Mr. Cuong outlined a step-by-step entry approach. Companies should first work with local partners who can reach the right customers, understand the market and support on-the-ground delivery. They can then test their offering through a focused pilot, adapt it to local needs beyond language, and use that first success as a local reference to grow further.
TMA also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the event’s signing ceremony, creating a basis for further cooperation between the two sides.

Through STEP 2026, TMA continues to strengthen its technology partnerships with Korea and to support Korean businesses in Vietnam with its AI and software engineering capabilities.
